Founded by Roger and Beverley Paynter over 50 years ago, Pakall is an Australian owned and operated family business and is a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging solutions to the food and non-food sector.

Founded by Roger and Beverley Paynter over 50 years ago, Pakall is an Australian owned and operated family business and is a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging solutions to the food and non-food sector.

From humble beginnings selling general packaging materials from their West End, Brisbane premises in 1974, after recognising a shift in the market towards the need for flexible films, Roger and Beverley custom built their first polyethylene extrusion facility in 1982.

This expansion helped to revolutionise the way fresh food and food material were being processed and stored.

Handing over the reins of the day-to-day management of the business to son Greg in 2010, Roger continues to support the business and its customers to the present day.

Fast forward to 2012, to accommodate customers ever evolving packaging requirements and to meet industry demand, Pakall moved again to larger premises enabling the business to expand into multilayer film and
barrier products.
